I am writing to advise that an Irish Sailing Association Yachtmaster Coastal theory course is proposed to start on Monday 10th October next at 7.30pm. The venue is Wicklow Sailing Club and will run for 20 nights, up til early April 2012.
The course is suitable for anyone with an interest in matters maritime, especially if you have already dipped your toes in the water and would like to learn more. Topics covered are navigation, chartwork, tides, weather, rules, safety and much more.
Cost of the course is €330, which includes the course pack but not all equipment. A 10% discount applies to existing SECS customers, WSC members and RNLI crew. A deferred payment system can be accommodated, if required.
Hoping you can make it and you might spread the word please.
Yours in sailing,

Fabulous sunny day her in Wicklow just like a summer‘s day, dusted down the 3D Seadoo hoping to get it down to the water but there was a strange fog just off the coast and it stayed there hovering over the water so we had to knock that idea for today . Got the instruction to cut the grass front and back and then the rest of the common ground in the estate so that knocked the wind out of my sale so to speak! Anyway I found a clip of last year’s outing with the guys!
A look at the new slipway at the new Greystones Harbour .
I put up news from the US all the time because we here in Ireland we be expecting our economy to grow mainly from the US multi nationals currently keeping their operations in Ireland so events and particularly Tax changes in the US will have a major impact on their operations in Ireland.
Personally I believe waiting for the US multi Nationals to pull Ireland out of the rescission is flawed
We should in fact be supporting local small /medium Irish business supplying local Irish demand and export
