Well if you are in Ireland reading this you may well want to congratulate yourself seeing that we the people have thwarted the attempts by the established political elite to take a big chunk out of our constitution. Yes my friends we can indeed feel we have achieved something special but don’t go overboard as the politicians will now have to come up with an alternative plan! Mr Kenny refused to consider a major overall of the upper house and I fear he and his vested interests will now continue to stuff the house with their cronies’ .What we now need to do is to pile on the pressure for a major overall of this house and enable access for the ordinary Joe!

No more special places for our top University props and the other elitist vested interests in our society we need access for all and one way would be for a national lottery of all the citizens, where all PPS numbers will be put into a lottery and the first 64 or so numbers will be the new members of the upper house! Once served you do not get a second term no matter who you are and all the previous members must be disqualified. A payment of the equivalent of the dole payment should be sufficient for the privilege of serving your own people and a drastic cut in the existing politician’s salaries to say the average industrial wage should also be implemented ASAP. No state pensions should exceed that of the average wage earner period!

Now we are talking meaningful change and a true presentation of democracy for and by the people.

Have a pleasant Sunday

Troika doubts over Croke Park

Serious misgivings have emerged about the scale of savings being achieved under the Croke Park agreement in advance of the latest troika visit to assess progress under the bailout.

It is understood that experts from the European Union, International Monetary Fund and European Central Bank are becoming increasingly frustrated with how the Coalition is implementing the bailout by cutting services to the public rather than tackling vested interests in the public service and professions.
While the troika is satisfied that overall targets for deficit reduction are being met, there is concern at the way they are being achieved, according to sources involved in the process. It is also understood that there is concern about the budget overruns in health.
Signs of growing discontent have also emerged on the Fine Gael backbenches, with several TDs becoming increasingly critical of the Government’s approach to making savings in the public service pay bill.
Confirmation by chairman of the implementation body PJ Fitzpatrick to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) that increments and allowances are not part of the Croke Park deal has aggravated Fine Gael TDs. The disclosure that departments are calculating savings made………………………………..

“The second area is what we can do at the euro area level to create jobs, basically by increasing investment and enhancing infrastructures. There are many proposals, such as increasing the European Investment Bank (EIB) action and redirecting the EU funds towards the low income areas. When we talk about infrastructure and fiscal consolidation, it is certainly much better to consolidate through the reduction of expenditure, especially current expenditure and not capital or investment expenditure, rather than through increases in taxes” ECB president Mario Draghispeaking in May 2012

“Point One – Protecting and creating jobs. Because jobs and opportunity are the best chance of keeping our best asset – our young people – at home.  We plan to create 20,000 new jobs a year over the next four years. How? By cutting employers’ PRSI, by creating a welfare system that encourages work and by investing an extra €7 billion…

This is the real extent of the crimes committed by this government as they called for change and promised real change, but as we see, we got no change but more of the same “gombeen politics” and “stroke politics” when you are a member of the “insiders club” you get “looked after”
As for the rest of us we all get taken to the cleaners, to pay for the pensions and perks of the puppets now running our country !

The current political parties in government have no moral backbone and as such have no right to continue to govern .Allen Shatter outbursts about the latest murders in our streets is cold comfort to ordinary citizens who are watching the architects of our financial enslavement get rewarded by his colleagues in government. what hypocrites when will we see bankers and corrupt politicians get some street justice????

This information is already in the public domain but until now hasn’t been available online. It is correspondence which evidences the salaries paid to NAMA developers and it has just now been published by the Oireachtas Committee of Public Accounts, commonly called the PAC. It is correspondence received by the PAC in July from NAMA’s Martin Whelan – he’s the former CIF communications chief who was recruited as NAMA’s Relationship Manager in January 2012, though he seems to have recently acquired a bit of an empire and his title has become Head of Relationship Management. His job is to maintain good relations with politicians – NAMA recently refused in a parliamentary question to say how much the Relationship Department at NAMA was costing (us!), citing data protection – no, seriously!

The correspondence shows the gross salaries drawn by developers – referred to as “principals” by NAMA. The most eye-catching figures…

Mr Justice Seamus Hughes and the Neanderthal man

By thejournal.ie

THERE HAVE BEEN calls for a District Court judge to resign after he described Travellers as being “Neanderthal men… abiding by the laws of the jungle”.

Mr Justice Seamus Hughes, a former Fianna Fáil TD,

is reported as criticising a defendant who appeared before Athlone District Court, saying:

Nobody has indicated it to me, but I suspect he comes from a certain ethnic background that would give him even more form given the type of behaviour in which some of them engage… As I’ve described it before, they are like Neanderthal men living in the long grass, abiding by the laws of the jungle.

Pavee Point, an advocacy group for Travellers, said that it would be difficult for Travellers to believe that they could get a fair trial under Judge Hughes following the ………..

Comment:

On closer inspection what we have here is a failed Fianna Fail insider, Gombeen, fixer, parish pump politician expressing his own deep prejudice against a fellow citizen. This gobshite should be removed forthwith from the bench .I would like to know how he got his promotion who “looked after” this failed moron Fianna Fail politician by giving him this consolation post (It this another example of Jobs for the Boys????)

This trumped up gombeen and the rest of the criminal elite running the country are the real menace to Irish society, their behaviour in government has robbed countless families of their ability to support their families and have financial slaves of our entire nation.

The likes of this prat has ironically been put into the position of casting judgement over citizens who never had a fair start in life in the first place! The Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and the Labour self-serving political leaches are the real criminals and they are the

Neanderthal men living in the long grass, abiding by the laws that suite themselves “.

The Irish constitution guarantees that all of the citizens of the republic will be treated equally and I have never come across a section of our community who are more honourable! This failed gombeen politician is not worthy to unite  the shoe laces of the man he has described as a Neanderthal

That damned, elusive stinking snail (Minister James Reilly)

“We seek him here, we seek him there, and those Irish senior citizens seek him everywhere. Is he in heaven? – Is he in hell? That damned James Reilly, that stinking snail “

Government needs to give treaty a harder look

KIERAN ALLEN

OPINION: The Coalition’s argument for a Yes vote demands more scrutiny before Thursday

THE GOVERNMENT only has one argument in favour of the fiscal treaty: If we vote No, we will be unable to borrow money to fund public services. There will be no stability and so the ATM machines will seize up.

The Government’s case comes down to access to the European Stability Mechanism fund. This is a €700 billion firewall that euro zone governments can draw on if other borrowing costs are too high.

Until recently Fine Gael and Labour claimed that Ireland would not need a second IMF– ECB-European Commission programme of cuts. They argued that austerity would produce a recovery by giving confidence to investors. They are now saying though that Ireland may need “insurance” and the only way to guarantee access is by voting Yes.

This argument demands far more scrutiny. When terms such as a “second bailout” are used, it suggests that the IMF and commission are trying to help the Irish population. In reality, a second programme would involve even more stringent conditions.

The ESM treaty – which is due to be voted on in the Dáil after the referendum – states that the funds would come with “strict conditionality”

The sad truth is, Enda Kenny’s a chicken

What’s on tomorrow’s political news agenda? Some minister may be exposed for spending over the odds for a hotel room on a visit to foreign parts. Some politician most of us don’t care about will attack some politician we wish we’d never heard of.

And the political journalists (and no one else) will get excited about some short-lived development in the fiscal treaty campaign.

Any or all or none of these might top the headlines. There’s one thing that we can be pretty sure will be way down the news agenda. That’s the gift of €2.25bn that we’re bestowing tomorrow on another lucky bunch of rich people. It probably won’t even rate a mention.

There’s real news — and there’s the stuff with which we distract ourselves. To find an example of real news, put bondwatchireland into Google. You’ll find Diarmuid O’Flynn’s small blog, where he chronicles the relentless flow of wealth from Irish citizens to the reckless bank bondholders

Angry father accuses Enda Kenny of forcing his children to emigrate from Ireland

An angry father of three has personally accused Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny of forcing his children and their generation to emigrate in search of work.

Westmeath native Peadar Doyle confronted the government leader as he campaigned in Athlone for a Yes vote in the EU Fiscal Treaty referendum.

Doyle went head to head with Kenny as the Fine Gael leader arrived at the Golden Island shopping centre.

He was one of a number of protesters who clashed with the Prime Minister on the campaign trail.
“Back in 1958, I was forced out of this country. You are now forcing my children and my grandchildren out of this country,” Doyle told Kenny.

He later revealed that one son is already working in Wales, another is to emigrate when he finishes college in Waterford while his daughter, currently studying for her final school exams, is also resigned to emigration.

Meet the real Taoiseach of Ireland “Peter Sutherland”

Goldman is doing the business in Ireland and is well placed within the Government as Peter Sutherland is the top advisor to Edna Kenny .Sutherland a former attorney general and EU commissioner, was also a board member at Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) during the financial meltdown, is well placed within Fine Gael party and is Chief Executive of Goldman Sachs international.

What more can I say .We are truly screwed .Democracy is dead in Ireland the Banker dictatorship is in total control .It’s time for a second republic to replace the old leach infested and totally corrupt one .With unelected moneymen like this running around government offices advancing the Goldman agenda our country is no longer a democracy. Kenny is a front man, a mouthpiece, a puppet who is been manipulated along with his turncoat Labour champagne socialists who will agree to anything to stay in power. There is an air of change in Europe and the gutless blue shirts and their clueless Labour partners are about to end up with egg on their faces touting tickets for a match that is all but over.

A wave of revolt against German inspired Austerity  is sweeping Europe and the Germans are beginning to feel the heat .Merkel,s own party colleges in Berlin are openly calling for a change in direction .If the Irish government is not going to listen to its own people they will pay the consequences very soon and it won’t be pretty.

Listen folks, do your homework. Goldman Sachs has taken over Ireland and the Irish Government. Research the people they have put in place around the EU to manage the takeover of other countries. Peter Sutherland is their man on the ground in Ireland.  People must now wake up to the fact that this banking dictatorship has plundered the middle classes and caused increased levels of poverty in this country and others.  If the people of Ireland in particular do not start fighting back through a policy of non – compliance we are all finished. We need our government to get the message that we know who pulls their strings.  The only way we will ever break free of the Goldman Sachs parasitic financial tyranny that has enslaved Ireland is to refuse to pay back any money owed to a financial arm associated with Goldman Sachs, and force the government not to comply with them, or their demands. It will be hard at first, granted, but the long term result will be freedom from the tyranny we now live under. One of the main reasons why this Government (and the last one) refused to take back the Oil and Gas the resides of the west coast of Mayo is that the Goldman Sachs financial policemen, the IMF and ECB, threatened to cut off the bailout funds if Ireland reversed the contracts granted to Shell and the other Oil companies who are stealing our resources at present. Please!, for the sake of children make some change that will mark the end of this nightmare, because if you don’t you will have to defend your cowardice to them when they start asking hard questions.
