Oppression in Bahrain continues and the world looks the other way!

The Movement in Bahrain (in spite of media neglect)

He runs impulsively and courageously, carrying his country’s flag as if he were carrying his own dream. He looks young, athletic, and fearless. He jumps over a bridge’s fence and runs to the place where many of his countrymen were killed not long ago. Then he raises his flag and waves it high, trying to avoid the policemen running to stop him. He was standing in that same spot six months ago, carrying that same flag and living that same dream. Today, his dream is besieged, just like the spot where he is standing. Soon, dozens of riot police rush out from four vehicles, surround him, take him down, and confiscate his flag. There, his punishment awaits him—a brutal beating by the police, who then take him away.

His name is Mohamed Ali Alhaiki, an ordinary young man who was the talk of Bahrain few days ago. On Saturday, Mohamed—who was fired from his job after participating in the anti-government protests—decided to carry the Bahraini flag and walk with it right to the middle of Pearl Roundabout in the center of the capital Manama.

Mohamed’s symbolic action, which was filmed and posted on YouTube, will be remembered by hundreds of thousands of Bahrainis who have participated in pro-democracy protests since February 14th. They will remember this like they remember Ali Jawad Al-Sheikh, the 14-year-old boy who was killed a few days earlier on the morning of Eid—one of two days of celebration for Muslims—while he was participating with his friends in pro-democracy protest in his village.

Deaths in Syrian city of Deir Az Zor

The sorry state of Syrian State murder is continuing and the
west again sits back and looks on.

The UN as usual is nowhere to be seen or heard the same can
be said of the States crackdown in Bahrain where hundreds have disappeared and hospital
personal have been tortured because they have treated wounded demonstrators. Saudi
Troops have effectively taken over this once independent State and now it is no
more that a puppet state. The international community and press have all but
forgotten the plight of the people of this terrorized land

Double standards in human rights  is the currency of the west my friends!

America’s true reason for intervention

Sent in to us this morning

America‘s true reason for intervention, and missile attacks against
Libya has become very clear today with a sudden creation by the rebels of a new
central bank on March 29th.

The rebels in Libya are in the middle of a life or death civil war and Moammar
Gadhafi is still in power and yet somehow the Libyan rebels have had enough
time to establish a new Central Bank of Libya and form a new national oil
company. Perhaps when this conflict is over those rebels can become time
management consultants. They sure do get a lot done. What a skilled bunch of
rebels – they can fight a war during the day and draw up a new central bank and
a new national oil company at night without any outside help whatsoever. If
only the rest of us were so versatile! But isn’t forming a central bank
something that could be done after the civil war is over? According to
Bloomberg, the Transitional National Council has “designated the Central
Bank of Benghazi as a monetary authority competent in monetary policies in
Libya and the appointment of a governor to the Central Bank of Libya, with a
temporary headquarters in Benghazi.” – The Economic Collapse via Uruknet

I don’t find myself in agreement with the general thrust of this article but I do respect the
possibility of some truth in it as we all know that America always looks out for itself and its interests first. Just look over at Bahrain and Saudi Arabia the democracy movement was crushed and Saudi Arabian forces invaded Bahrain and nobody in the west said anything indeed the news media just went silent. There are still reports seeping out about torture and summary executions and the world media are ignoring these reports why because Saudi Arabia in the American sphere of interest and is a no go area for the established media that is mostly controlled by American interests !

Take a look of a simple for the actions of the government in this country

Police Killing Bahraini civilian

International Court of Justice

Dear Sir or Madam,

To whom it may concern,

I would like to make an official complaint about these police men who quite obviously have murdered this unfortunate man. See video Link http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=gtrZaHTIJK8&skipcontrinter=1

I call upon you to investigate and move to prosecute those policemen that have taken part in this murder. The standards of civil rights are coming together all over the world and Human rights have to be enforced and protected. No civil society calling itself a democracy can just stand by and watch this kind of police brutality/Murder in broad daylight taking place.
