Fine Gael ,talk is cheap!

Fine Gael today renewed its calls for the Government to revisit its plans to restructure Anglo Irish Bank and shut it down if saving it is not economically viable.
Finance spokesman Michael Noonan noted Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan said last year the cost to the taxpayer of saving Anglo would be €4.5 billion.
“The Minister’s estimate has now risen to almost € 25 billion and Standards and Poors, when evaluating Ireland’s creditworthiness last week, put the cost at €35 billion,” he said.
Mr Noonan said the uncertainty about the back is having serious consequences for the Irish economy, with borrowing costs rising and credit lines tighter.
He called on Mr Lenihan to conclude negotiations with the European Commission “as a matter of urgency” and state clearly what the plan for the bank is.
“He must produce an accurate and internationally acceptable estimate of the cost of the Anglo rescue to the taxpayer, and he must clearly show that his rescue plan is less costly than an orderly wind down of the bank would be,” he said. “If he cannot do this, than an orderly wind down should commence immediately.
He claimed the Green Party was in favour of such a course of action. “The Greens are wrong about most issues but they may be right on this one.”

Comment:

Here we have a an example of the Fine Gael riding to the rescue suddenly getting the words together to maybe call for the wind up of the Toxic Toilet Anglo Irish Bank ,when the Irish taxpayers have been robbed blind and nothing more can be done by Lenihan and the rest of the cr**** in the Government
Even now Fine Gael still cannot come down on one side or another the facts are, the big con artists
Of Anglo Irish Bank have long gotten their booty to safe shores and Mr. Kenny does seem to be well use to the plush green Fairways of the K club.
The developers have by now gotten all of their choice assets on the a family members name and can declare that there are” Broke” even though they are still apparently well able to fork our 1500 Euros per plate at “special dinners”
“Have no fear Kenny is here” Is not a cry you will be hearing from the trampled down populous anytime soon!
Fine Gael is coming up behind sometime soon when the coast is clear, is more like the type of phrase you will here
Instead of a well organized opposition we have a bunch of on the make it up as you go long’s
The success of Fianna Fail in pushing through the largest fraud in Irish history (NAMA) on to the taxpayers of this state is directly linked to the incompetence of the opposition parties and that is no badge of honour Mr. Noonan, nor should it be rewarded by the citizens of Ireland in the next general election
Fine Gael has failed miserable in their job as the largest opposition party!
How in God’s name do they even think that they will be allowed to lead the next government by the bewildered taxpayers of this country?
Do they think we are fools?
Do they expect to just walk into the Dail and carry on with the same political musical chairs system we have had for the last 80 years
No lads we the people have had enough of this gravy train for incompetent fools and it doesn’t matter what party you call yourself lads!

Conclusion: Fine Gael Talk is cheap

Why should it be any different here in Ireland?

Economic uncertainties around the world are expected to provide continued support for gold these concerns have led investors to gobble up gold in the second quarter
The World Gold Council said demand for gold-backed exchange-traded funds rose 414% compared to the second quarter of 2009
Why?? People just cannot ignore what they see on the ground
With next to no credit available, Unemployment still is rising(currently at 13.5% ) and emigration heading to record highs here in Ireland.
Announcements from incompetent government ministers who have lost all creditability with every figure coming from the department of finance been wrong be miles what do you think savvy investor are doing?
Investors are making the switch from buying gold only in times of crisis to having gold as part of a diversified portfolio
So if the savvy investors don’t believe the Department of Finance why should the ordinary Joe soap?
The fact is that governments around the western world are lying to their peoples and we in Ireland should expect nothing better from the crooks that are running our country
In my opinion we are heading Down Down Down as long as these GobS**** stay in power
We need a Government that can layout the true facts, come up with a realistic solutions however though it may eventually be and a time plan so we the people can see a what progress is been made
however difficult .
Once the markets know exactly what the facts are it will react and recover and we can expect to see confidence come back into the economy
we need a general election as I believe we are been kept in the dark by the ruling élite that are hiding the true scale of the financial disaster we are now in, caused by the very people that they are hell bent on bailing out !
Come clean now!

Where have all the performing loans gone?

Where have all the performing loans gone?
August 7, 2010 by namawinelake

The last two weeks have seen suggestions that perhaps as much as €8bn of largely performing loans that were NAMA-bound will no longer come within the agency’s control, which would be very bad news for NAMA’s finances.

First we found out that NAMA had agreed not to transfer Paddy McKillen’s loans pending the outcome of Paddy’s judicial review proceedings which are scheduled for October 2010, though with appeals, could take considerably longer. This week we learned Paddy’s Metrospa Limited has sold a property on Old Bond Street in London for GBP £18.2bn and also that another of Paddy’s companies Maybourne has been “inundated” with expressions of interest to provide finance that might redeem the €600m-odd Anglo and Bank of Ireland loans apparently outstanding to the group. Come October, Paddy mightn’t have any NAMA eligible loans. Paddy has assured us all his loans are performing. Paddy has an estimated €800m outstanding to Anglo alone and exposures with at least one other NAMA bank.

Comment:

We are slowly been subjected to a gradual change of what NAMA was supposed to be
With the siphoning off the entire choice bits (performing loans) and leaving the toxic stuff in NAMA for the taxpayers, don’t be surprised to hear calls from the Insiders for a new bank and guess who will have a major share holding of this New bank why our old corrupt pals in Allied Irish Bank, Irish Life and permanent and Bank of Ireland
This will conclude the socializing of all the toxic assets and the privatisation of the profitable assets
This is stealing on a massive scale and no one will do a thing about it
Or will they?
stop this wholesale fraud now.

New reserve currency

This is big trouble for the USA
WASHINGTON (AP) — Regulators on Friday shut down a Nevada bank, raising to 83 the number of U.S. bank failures this year.
The 83 closures so far this year is more than double the pace set in all of 2009, which was itself a brisk year for shutdowns. By this time last year, regulators had closed 40 banks. The pace has accelerated as banks’ losses mount on loans made for commercial property and development.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. took over Nevada Security Bank, based in Reno, with $480.3 million in assets and $479.8 million in deposits. Umpqua Bank, based in Roseburg, Ore., agreed to assume the assets and deposits of the failed bank.
New reserve currency
We in Ireland are still bailing out bankrupt banks at the cost billions we don’t have causing economic depression for this and the next generation!
With 52 thousand students coming out of our universities and no jobs to go to
alone along with 100,000 people all ready left the country ,and another 53 thousand students leaving secondary education this year
How many of them are going into apprenticeships, jobs or is it emigration for the majority for them
The Unelected Cowen and his band of economic terrorists are helping the top bankers of the state live it up while the rest of us struggle to pay our monthly bills
I say let the bankrupt banks pay their own bills and allow them to fail, just like the Americans are doing in the land of Free markets
Allowing the crooks in the Dail to plunder our natural resources and the wealth of future generations is a crime I personally do not want to be responsible for, when our children ask what you did to prevent it I can show I was active in my opposition and I made a stand
What can you say you did??
It is the responsibility of each and every one of us to oppose this band of thieves we must stand up and take action
Do not just stand by and allow our country to be destroyed by the current government who have sold out to the faceless bondholders in Germany , France and England
Stand up and Fight back now!
Put yourself up for election do not give you vote to any of the current TD’s
We need new blood in the Dail and not Family dynasties
We want a general election now and we need a new community party made up of new local people from ordinary backgrounds that will work for an average wage and not clock up huge self given perks, ending up as millionaires while the rest of us struggle to pay for these perks & pensions
We need real servants of the people and not leach’s sucking the rest of us dry like some of the current shower of TD’s are doing
The next general election must end Gombeenisem for good.
Promise yourself this and we just might save Ireland!

Wicklow Times gives us a mention

We recently crossed over the 36,000 visitors mark and for the first time we also got a mention in the local paper the Wicklow Times click here Document (9)

Last Year we had a Darby and here is the link http://thepressnet.com/2009/09/01/wicklow-td%e2%80%99s-are-big-spenders/

My thanks to all who drop by on a Daly basis , contribute and encourage me .Independent news and opinions  are a vital ingredient of Democracy ,and we must guard these fundamental rights we all have .

We also have the right to call to account those that are put in places of power be it local or national

remember we the people are the paymasters and they are supposed to be working for US the general public .We must get used to asking the real questions .for example Wicklow Town has now approx 2000 unemployed ,so what have the Local elected TD’s done to get even one person a job

What new funds or what job creation measures have been provided in the last 17 months

I can answer you NONE!

Don’t promise you votes to someone just because there a nice Man/Woman

We need new faces and new ideas; nothing will change if the same old policies are kept

We need Action on Jobs and not hot air and empty promises

Billions have been squandered in toxic Banks (NAMA)

Jobs have been created for top managers, accountants and solicitors (people in the right circles)

The rest of us are dumped and forgotten!

Stand up and fight back!

Demand up-skilling ,re-education and universal health care for all

 Demand answers and accountability!

we need reform now!

The current Irish Government are responsible for the financial disaster the country is in,
With the establishment of NAMA the Government is trying to socialize the enormous losses that the Banks and their Developer buddies have encored.
Corruption is rife and now a new monster burocratic system is being created, where X politicians will have jobs for life and the same corrupt developers will be able to manipulate the housing market all over again
While the people are being robbed of their homes, savings, pensions, and education for their children, that same gangsters are running the country
This has to stop!
Join the CAB to-day and get things moving
Come on! Get active in your own area now!
We as a country need new faces and not the same old tired faces that have being around using the system to suite themselves.

Tell the people the truth about the Markets & NAMA

Do you really want to know what is really going on in the market place?
Ever heard of the “Rigged Market capitalists system”
Are you ready for this news??
Ernst & Young auditors of Anglo Irish Bank now working for NAMA ,
The same auditors for Lehman Brothers .
This is criminal , allowing this to go on, they should all be in Jail !
We must have a new Irish people’s political party that will stop this fraud in its tracks.
A political party that will prosecute all the individuals responsible for this criminal conspiracy
They must be brought to justice
We the people must have our pound of flesh!

God save Ireland from these Gangsters!

Ombusdman Emily O’Reilly claimed today the work of her office was being undermined by what she described as “deficits in our parliamentary and government arrangements”.

In an address to the Institute of Public Administration in Dublin today, Ms O’Reilly criticised the Government’s decision last month to vote against a proposal to have her report on a grant aid scheme for commercial fishermen referred to an Oireachtas committee.

She said the handling of the controversial Lost to Sea report illustrated how the Oireachtas was being side-lined. Ms O’Reilly published the report last December after its findings were rejected by the Department of Agriculture, only the second time this has happened since the office of ombudsman was founded in the 1980s.

“Unfortunately, the model of government set out in the Irish Constitution has become more of a fiction than a reality,” Ms O’Reilly said. “In practice the Dáil, and to a slightly lesser extent the Seanad, is controlled very firmly by the Government parties through the operation of the whip system.

“For all practical purposes, and I very much regret having to say this so bluntly, parliament in Ireland has been sidelined and is no longer in a position to hold the executive to account,” she said. “With the exception of the election of a Taoiseach, almost all decisions of importance are taken by the executive and are rubber-stamped by parliament.”

The Lost at Sea scheme was established in 2001 by then minister for the marine Frank Fahey. Under the scheme, owners of fishing boats lost at sea could apply for grant aid for replacement capacity.

The Byrne family from Donegal later complained to the ombudsman after its application was rejected, on the grounds it was made after the deadline.

Ms O’Reilly’s report criticised several aspects of the scheme, including the advertising process, which she found was not comprehensive enough. She recommended compensation of €245,000 for the Byrnes.

Ms O’Reilly said last month the Dáil and Seanad had the task of deciding who is right and wrong in her dispute with the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.

But following a heat Dáil debate on the matter last month, the Government voted against referring the report to the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.

In her speech today, Ms O’Reilly claimed the Government had stopped the Oireachtas adjudicating on her dispute with the Department of Agriculture by voting “along party political lines”.

She said this illustrated “how deficits in our parliamentary and government arrangements can adversely affect” the work of her office.

Ms O’Reilly said she would have expected a parliamentary committee, following appropriate scrutiny, to reach the conclusion that her recommendation in the report that financial compensation be paid to the complainant.

She said her office “had done, in its area of responsibility, precisely what the Financial Regulator was accused of not doing, in terms of failing to serve the public interest and rooting out maladministration in the banking system”.

Ms O’Reilly said she hoped the Oireachtas may yet find a mechanism to allow the report to be dealt with “calmly and reasonably”.

In a wide-ranging speech, the Ombudsman said poor governance in a number of our key private and public institutions lies at the heart of our economic downturn.

This is just the latest example of how our constitution does not meet the challenges from our own government with the self-interests now blatantly using the executive power to promote the interests of the chosen few

The political system in now was used and abused by a totally corrupt political elite and their lackeys.

The Dail is no longer listening to the voice of the Irish people.

Wrangling over the plum jobs and positions of power are the order of the day, sqandering billions down toxic Bank holes under the guise of the Con NAMA , and robbing ordinary people of their dignity in sickness

By putting them on trolleys in hallways, along hospitals corridors

Forcing the unemployed to work for nothing is programs (WPP) from discredited FAS

Allowing Bank Directors to be rewarded, who have supervised the systematic destruction of our national banking system to continue in place while the public loses their pensions and the shareholder loses 95% of their holdings!

Our political masters are so interconnected with these gangsters they have put the interests of International bond holders (NAMA)over the interests of the Irish people. We are no longer a free and independent nation our freedom has being given away and we and our children and the next generation are now financial slaves to foreign vested interests

This is treachery and it seems the constitutional rights of the of the people of Ireland are been ignored .This Dail no longer represents the people and any amount of shuffling the chairs around a corrupt cabinet will change nothing!

Traitors are still traitors it doesn’t matter where they sit

We the people want those responsible removed from their plum jobs and brought before the people’s justice. We also demand the a new government renegotiate the huge debts that were incurred by their corrupt bankers and the said Bank directors made pay from their own funds

Those responsible must not benefit in any way from their crimes.

These people at the top are the problem and until they all go Ireland hasn’t got any hope of retrieving its once cherished independence.

God save Ireland from NAMA and these Gangsters!
