What is truth?

Our ancestors braved the Black and Tans the great famine, Cromwell and countless British atrocities. Are we now going to allow gutless cowards in the Dail to steal our heritage as well? Are we going to lie down and comply with the unjust demands placed on our shoulders by faceless absentee landlords who have conned us out of our own country .Wake up Ireland, where are the sons and daughters of the of our once proud Celtic Nation ? Brake away from the chains of financial and economical bondage that our incompetent politicians  helped to subdue our entire nation with .

I am a  descended of a ssurvivor of the Famine and I will not allow gutless politicians sell me and my children into financial slavery !Who will join me ???  Like so many of our great patriots of old, I dare to get up off my knees and say enough is enough! This is the land of the Gael . Our elite political class have lost their way and sold us out to faceless bureaucrats and vested interests .They have taken the 30 pieces of silver  and are tearing down the fabric of our communities. Our old and sick are dying ,our youth are been hounded out of our country in search of work and a livelihood. all because of interest payments on odious debts we the citizens are not responsible for.

Its time to shout stop! Enough is enough. Its time to rid ourselves of the political leaches in the Dail and their masters in Europe!

  1. I notice you also ‘promote’ the Keiser Report. I can see why. I also watch his programme but all Max does is give out. He NEVER deals with the core problems. He never deals with what needs to be done to solve the core problems. You also, are the very same. You and many other web sites and forums complain, and complain, and complain. That will achieve NOTHING.

You say – shout stop. That’s really constructive. That’ll solve the problem! Then what? The problems in Ireland will not be solved by shouting stop, it must be a case of using joined-up thinking and a fixed and purposeful plan and goal to actually bring about change to solve those problems you want ‘stopped’.

I spent 6 months investigating our present political system and wrote a 155 page document outlining the core fundamental problems which are the root cause of our dysfunctional political system. Maybe I am the stupid one in thinking that before you can fix a problem you need to understand that problem thoroughly but as far as I can see all you and others want to do is give out and call for change without knowing the CAUSES of the specific problems you want addressed.

I have fundamental realistic proposals in my head regarding how a real democracy could be organised in Ireland but I find that I can’t even get people to visit the site http://www.irishcitizen.ie the know what the problems are in the first place because they are too busy giving out. And even if I did write the second part of the document with the realistic and definite proposals and put it online, no one would visit the site to read it because they were too busy GIVING OUT ABOUT THE SYSTM, that is apart from not understanding the logic of the proposals because they wouldn’t understand the problems.

So, is this all just talk that you want change? If not I suggest you go to my site and read that document – part one. Then you will know at least what the core problems are, or do you think you know them already? Unless I can get a substantial number of people to visit the site and read that document – part one, it would be pointless to write document – part two.

If you want change it must be co-ordinated, focussed and thought out. Shouting stop isn’t going to achieve much, now is it? Go to the site. Read. Then encourage others to go to the site and read. It is a time for thinking first, with action following – based on logic.

I am tring to find others who want to change the system and bring democracy to Ireland, not just complain about the system. Do you want to do something , or just carry on complaining?

    • *I just complain??* I have spent the guts of 30,000 euro,( hard earned wages trying ( and not contributions from vested interests) to get elected to the local county council ( 10 years) and I fought the last general election as an independent .I was up against 24 other candidates some whom were well financed. I believe I have earned the right to complain, I dont need to be told what the problems are as I have lived under the corrupt political system all my life and I am just one of the hundreds of thousands of Irish citizens forced to leave Ireland. I have spent hundreds of hours outside the Dail calling for justice and accountability; I didnt see you there in all the years I was standing there. I was outside Anglo Irish Bank calling for its closure where were you??? I have stood outside Laughlinstown hospital in support of the A&E services I did not see you there. People are gone past having academic analysis preached to them! When you are worried sick where you are going to get the next mortgage payment, or worried about having enough money to fill your car with petrol or having to insure your car now for only 6 months in the year because you cannot afford to pay for a full year these are more pressing problems.

We dont need an academic analysis highlighting the problems of our political system! We all see it is corrupt ,what we need is the will of the people to bring about real change and at the moment to only way is to put yourself forward in the local elections and try and fight the corrupt system .When you done that you might have earned your spurs to criticise me . I do not presume to have all the answers for the problems of Ireland but I do have the right to shout stop to the wholesale political corruption that has consumed out democracy! Thank you for your input but I, am past been put down by academic hacks .The gangsters who have brought Ireland to its knees were all well educated individuals none of whom will ever likely see the inside of a prison cell. As to the problems you have in securing visitors to your site .My experience is that people will visit if they think you have something worthwhile to say and it is relevant to their daily lives.

  2. 1. put yourself forward in the local elections and try and fight the corrupt system
The system is dysfunctional – it cannot be changed from within.

    2. You don’t need to be told what the problems are:
OK, what are the problems, as you see it – the CORE problems? – NOT the symptoms

    3. I have spent hundreds of hours outside the Dail calling for justice and accountability;
And have you figured it out that it was a waste of time. What exactly did you hope to achieve? What exactly did you think was realistically possible to achieve?

    4. People are gone past having academic analysis preached to them!
So knowing WHAT to change is not relevant?
Also it is NOT academic analysis. It is very practicle, but of course if you are not bothered to read what I have written…

    5. We all see it is corrupt
Exactly – all you are thinking of is a SYMPTOM of the problem. There is a disease in our political system. When you have a disease – you must cut it out. But all you are interested in is a symptom. Treat the symptom, get rid of the symptom, and what are you still left with?….THE DISEASE. I want to get rid of the disease, then the symptoms won’t happen!

    6. what we need is the will of the people to bring about real change
Treating the symptom is not REAL CHANGE.

I don’t mind if you carry on as you are doing, but all I am pointing out is that it is COMPLAINING. Your way cannot achieve anything.

    7. As to the problems you have in securing visitors to your site. My experience is that people will visit if they think you have something worthwhile to say and it is relevant to their daily lives.
They don’t think it is relevant – THEY ARE TOO BUSY COMPLAINING.

Better get used to the situation the way it is.

  4. The esad news (and bitter pill to swallow) is that we are not the decendents of heroes! The heroes either died or emigrated leaving only gombeens, shoneens, traitors, shisters and the utterly defeated behind. We are therefore decended from these and that is why the majority of the Irish population still falls into these categories (electing like-minded people to represent them) while the heroes built Britain, the US and Australia etc. A few of us have pushed our heads above the shite that we are emersed in but most seem happy to st ay nice and warn covered in that shite, governed by that shite, slaves to that shite. The few of us that might change matters would need to bring the eejits with us but sadly, I see little hope of that. Sorry to be so dispirited but that’s how I see it.
